Delivery (Shipping) Policy

HomeBite is a community-first food marketplace. Meals are prepared and delivered directly by home chefs who live in the same gated community or neighbourhood as the customer.

1. Delivery area

Delivery is available only within the community or neighbourhood that both the customer and home chef belong to. HomeBite does not offer inter-city or long-distance shipping. Physical goods are not shipped via courier.

2. Delivery method

The home chef (or someone on their behalf) hand-delivers the prepared meal to the customer's flat/home within the community, typically on foot or by a short in-community ride.

There are no separate delivery charges for customers at this time. The price shown on the menu is the final price the customer pays.

5. Missed delivery

If the customer is not reachable or not available to receive the order at the agreed location and time, the home chef may attempt to redeliver once. If the order still cannot be delivered, it is marked as completed without refund, since the food has already been prepared.

6. Food safety during delivery

Home chefs are expected to use appropriate containers and packaging to keep food safe and at the right temperature during the short in-community delivery. Customers are encouraged to consume the food promptly after delivery.
